Blue(r) Skies Report : August 20 – 27, 2010

The skies have temporarily parted and sure enough, there were fish in the river. Which we knew, but now we could actually see them. And boy were there lots of them. The Pak almost became a place to avoid due to the ridiculous numbers of Arctic Char being caught on each drift. It seemed that you had to work your way through the Char to get at the big Rainbow Trout that were lurking amongst the spawning Sockeye salmon. Seeing the fish was great, but... [Read More...]

BIBLICAL FISHING REPORT AUG. 13 – 20, 2010

Genesis 7:12 The rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights… and I will make the water cometh up and floweth over the damn river banks. ALEKNAGIK TRIANGLE : August 6 – 13, 2010

Fishing Report Another week, more bad weather. Team Polar Bear Report : July 9 – 16, 2010

For the sixth straight year we were lucky enough to play host to John Chambers and his high energy team. Talking with the group, they all feel lucky to get picked for what has become an amazing team building experience. This not one of those cheesy and often akward team building programs consisting of rope courses and group singing of kumbya [although if that was on our karaoke list it might have come up]. Instead we let the magic of Mission Lodge... [Read More...]
